Pan‐3D Genome Analysis Reveals the Roles of Structural Variation in Chicken Chromatin Architectures, Domestication and Production Traits

This study firstly presents a comprehensive and high‐resolution pan‐3D genome resource in chicken. Our findings reveal the role of structural variations in 3D genome architectures, and how they influence the domestication process and production traits at the 3D genome level.

Global Nitrogen Deposition Promotes Carbon Sink Formation in Terrestrial Ecosystems

Nitrogen deposition alleviates ecosystem N limitation and enhances carbon sinks. Using 829 observations, we show 36% of deposited N is retained globally (39.15 Tg N yr−1), with distinct NHx and NOy contributions. Hepatocyte BDNF Acts as a Novel Immune Checkpoint to Restrain TLR4‐Mediated Acute Hepatitis

This study identifies hepatocyte‐derived BDNF as an endogenous TLR4 antagonist that alleviates acute hepatitis. BDNF is downregulated in hepatocytes via REST‐mediated transcriptional repression during ALI/ALF. Mechanistically, BDNF binds to TLR4 on macrophages to suppress inflammation.
