Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Variability of Interpolation Errors and Mutual Enhancement of Different Interpolation Methods
Data interpolation methods are important statistical analysis tools that can fill in data gaps and missing areas by predicting and estimating unknown data points, thereby improving the accuracy and credibility of data analysis and research.

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Soft Handoff and Uplink Capacity in a Two-Tier CDMA System
This paper examines the effect of soft handoff on the uplink user capacity of a CDMA system consisting of a single macrocell in which a single hotspot microcell is embedded. The users of these two base stations operate over the same frequency band.

Copy Number Variants and Their Association With Intracerebral Hemorrhage Risk: A Case–Control Study
ABSTRACT Introduction Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide and lacks effective therapeutic interventions. Despite previous studies, the genetic underpinnings of ICH remain poorly understood. We sought to investigate the role of copy number variants (CNVs) in ICH pathophysiology to identify novel ...

Socio-technical Security Analysis of Wireless Hotspots [PDF]
We present a socio-technical analysis of security of Hotspot and Hotspot 2.0. The analysis focuses is user-centric, and aim at understanding which user action can compromise security in presence of a attacker. We identify research questions about possible factors that may affect user's security decisions, and propose experiments to answer them.

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Virusplot: a web server for viral integration analysis and visualization
The integration of viral DNA into the human genome is a critical event in the pathogenesis of various cancers. This process leads to genomic instability, disrupts cellular regulatory mechanisms, and activates oncogenes or inactivates tumor suppressor ...
