Bradgate House: Archaeological Evaluation
A 3m x 3m evaluation trench (Intervention 1) was machine-excavated behind the retaining wall in the formal garden to establish whether the current ground level was a result of dumping in the early 20th century, or represents the original ground level of the garden.
