Controlled Release of Curcumin from HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose) Co-Spray-Dried Materials

open access: yesBioinorganic Chemistry and Applications, 2021
In order to achieve the controlled release of curcumin, HPMC (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose) was spray dried with curcumin and lactose. The spray-dried materials were pressed into tablets with a diameter of 8 mm, and their release characteristics in ...

Evolution of defect densities with height in a HPMC-Si ingot [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2019
In this paper we have used a sequential measurement routine to separate and evaluate the effects of two dominant mechanisms for degradation of the carrier lifetime of silicon wafers: Boron-oxygen related light induced degradation (BO-LID) and light and elevated temperature induced degradation (LeTID). Wafers from different heights in a high performance

Foamed Concrete Sealing Materials for Coal Seam Gas Drainage Boreholes: A Review

open access: yesSafety Science and Technology, EarlyView.
This study investigates the sealing performance of foamed concrete in gas drainage boreholes. By comparing leakage pathways (a, c) with sealed systems (b, d), the research demonstrates how foamed concrete effectively fills mining‐induced fractures and resists deformation.

Hypersensitivity to Excipients in Drugs: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drugs contain active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients, compounds which enhance the pharmacokinetics, stability and palatability of the pharmaceutical formulation. While most drug hypersensitivity reactions (DHR) are caused by active ingredients, excipients may also be involved.

KPNA2 Drives Immunosuppression in Ovarian Cancer via CCL2/CCR2‐Dependent MDSC Recruitment

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
KPNA2 drives intratumoral MDSC accumulation and immunosuppression in ovarian cancer via the NF‐κB/CCL2/CCR2 axis. Mechanistically, KPNA2 facilitates NF‐κB/p65 nuclear translocation and induces CCL2 transcription, recruiting MDSCs to establish an immunosuppressive microenvironment.
