HST/FGS Photometry of Planetary Transits of HD 209458 [PDF]

open access: bronzeAIP Conference Proceedings, 2004
We present the data, and modeling and analysis results from the photometric monitoring of five planetary transits of HD 209458 using the Fine Guidance Sensors (FGS) onboard the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). We have now included the output from all four FGS photometers in our data reduction and analysis increasing our S/N over our previous results.

Candidate LBV stars in galaxy NGC 7793 found via HST photometry + MUSE spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: bronzeMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2020
ABSTRACT Only about 19 Galactic and 25 extragalactic bonafide luminous blue variables (LBVs) are known to date. This incomplete census prevents our understanding of this crucial phase of massive star evolution which leads to the formation of heavy binary black holes via the classical channel.

Late-TimeHSTPhotometry of SN 1994I: Hints of Positron Annihilation Energy Deposition [PDF]

open access: bronzePublications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 2008
We present multicolor Hubble Space Telescope (HST) WFPC2 broadband observations of the Type Ic SN 1994I obtained approximately 280 days after maximum light. We measure the brightness of the SN and, relying on the detailed spectroscopic database of SN 1994I, we transform the ground-based photometry obtained at early times to the HST photometric system ...

HST/WFPC2 Photometry in the 30 Doradus Nebula Beyond R136 [PDF]

open access: bronzeSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1999
A photometric study of the 30 Doradus Nebula beyond the core is being carried out by means of HST/WFPC2 archival images, with special attention to the numerous multiple systems and compact clusterings found there.

HST Photometry of the Globular Cluster M4 [PDF]

open access: green, 1998
This paper presents a detailed description of the acquisition and processing of a large body of imaging data for three fields in the globular cluster M4 taken with the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 aboard the Hubble Space Telescope. Analysis with the ALLFRAME package yielded the deepest photometry yet obtained for this cluster.

HST-ACS photometry of the isolated dwarf galaxy VV124=UGC 4879 [PDF]

open access: bronzeAstronomy & Astrophysics, 2011
We present deep V and I photometry of the isolated dwarf galaxy VV124=UGC4879, obtained from archival images taken with the Hubble Space Telescope - Advanced Camera for Surveys. In the color-magnitude diagrams of stars at distances larger than 40" from the center of the galaxy, we clearly identify for the first time a well-populated old Horizontal ...

HST photometry of Globular Clusters in the Sombrero Galaxy

open access: green, 2001
We explore the rich globular cluster (GC) system of the nearby Sa galaxy M104, the "Sombrero" (NGC 4594), using archive WFPC2 data. The GC colour distribution is found to be bimodal at the > 99% level, with peaks at V-I = 0.96+/-0.03 and 1.21+/-0.03 (corrected for foreground reddening).
