Faint Photometry with the HST Wide Field Camera [PDF]
AbstractA series of 40 HST WFC exposures in v (F555W) and i (F785LP) have been obtained of two fields in M81, in order to search for Cepheid variables. This has provided an ideal opportunity to compare how the photometry programs DoPHOT and DAOPHOT cope with undersampled images, and present our ‘best solution’ to the problem of reducing WFC photometry ...

Unusual void galaxy DDO 68: implications of theHST-resolved photometry [PDF]
DDO68 (UGC5340) is an unusual dwarf galaxy with extremely low gas metallicity (12+log(O/H) = 7.14) residing in the nearby Lynx-Cancer void. Despite its apparent isolation, it shows both optical and HI morphological evidence for strong tidal disturbance. Here, we study the resolved stellar populations of DDO68 using deep images from the HST archive.

Measuring Metallicities with HST/WFC3 photometry
We quantified and calibrated the metallicity and temperature sensitivities of colors derived from nine Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) filters aboard the Hubble Space Telescope using Dartmouth isochrones and Kurucz atmospheres models. The theoretical isochrone colors were tested and calibrated against observations of five well studied galactic clusters: M92,

A Multiwavelength Classification and Study of Red Supergiant Candidates in NGC 6946
We have combined resolved stellar photometry from Hubble Space Telescope (HST), Spitzer, and Gaia to identify red supergiant (RSG) candidates in NGC 6946, based on their colors, proper motions, visual morphologies, and spectral energy distributions.

High-resolution James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) observations can test confusion-limited Hubble Space Telescope (HST) observations for a photometric bias that could affect extragalactic Cepheids and the determination of the Hubble constant.

ANHST/WFPC SURVEY OF BRIGHT YOUNG CLUSTERS IN M31. II. PHOTOMETRY OF LESS LUMINOUS CLUSTERS IN THE FIELDS [PDF]
We report on the properties of 89 low mass star clusters located in the vicinity of luminous young clusters (blue globulars) in the disk of M31. 82 of the clusters are newly detected. We have determined their integrated magnitudes and colors, based on a series of Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field/Planetary Camera 2 exposures in blue and red (HST ...

The Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury. XXI. The Legacy Resolved Stellar Photometry Catalog
We present the final legacy version of stellar photometry for the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury (PHAT) survey. We have reprocessed all of the Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field Camera 3 and Advanced Camera for Surveys near-ultraviolet (F275W ...

Decomposition of the central structure of NGC 2273 in the NIR: A case study
Abstract The Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 2273 is a prime target to explore how active nuclei can be fed. It has a star‐forming innermost nuclear ring with a radius of 0.33kpc from where material may be funneled to the supermassive black hole in its center. In this article, we discuss high‐resolution adaptive optics aided JHKs images of NGC 2273 taken with the

The MUSE Ultra Deep Field (MUDF). III. Hubble Space Telescope WFC3 Grism Spectroscopy and Imaging
We present extremely deep Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) observations of the MUSE Ultra Deep Field. This unique region of the sky contains two quasars at z ≈ 3.22 that are separated by only ∼500 kpc, providing a stereoscopic view
