Anchor Engineering of Hole‐Selective Enamine‐Based Self‐Assembling Monolayers for Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents novel enamine‐based self‐assembling monolayers with engineered anchoring groups as hole‐selective contacts for inverted perovskite solar cells. The conjugated molecular design suppresses interfacial defects, optimizes charge extraction, and prevents aggregation.

Advances in Se Wide‐Bandgap Photovoltaics and TexSe1‐x SWIR Photodiodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this review, fundamental properties and current challenges in Se photovoltaics (PVs) for tandem and indoor PVs and TexSe1‐x alloys for short wave infrared photodiodes are discussed. A case is made for the practicality of elemental chalcogenide optoelectronics, and a pathway toward resolving the key challenges in these respective technologies is ...

High-efficiency HTL-free i-n versus p-i-n InGaN single junction solar cells: A SCAPS-1D optimization study

open access: yesNext Energy
Indium gallium nitride (InGaN) is a promising photovoltaic material due to its excellent optoelectronic properties. The conventional hole transport layer-based (HTL-based) p-i-n junction InGaN structure has been overemphasized for decades.

Aqueous Phase of Hydrothermal Liquefaction as a Concrete Modifier [PDF]

open access: yesNature Environment and Pollution Technology
The processes of liquid fuel production from organic wastes by hydrothermal liquefaction lead to the formation of wastewater characterized by a high content of organic compounds, including lignosulfonates and their derivatives.

Side‐Chain Asymmetry in Quinoxaline Copolymer Donors Enables Optimal Morphology and Improved Charge Dynamics for High‐Efficiency Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Side‐chain asymmetry in quinoxaline copolymer donors modulates donor–acceptor miscibility and blend morphology in all‐polymer solar cells. The asymmetric donor PBAQ6 enables more balanced charge transport, reduced recombination, and improved charge dynamics with PYF‐T‐o, delivering PCEs of 18.35% in binary devices and 19.52% in ternary devices ...

Grain‐Boundary‐Enriched Cocatalyst Coupled With CuSCN Hole Transport Layer for Efficient Solar Water Oxidation in BiVO4 Photoanode

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A grain‐boundary‐enriched NiFe cocatalyst is coupled with a CuSCN hole transport layer on BiVO4 photoanodes. The integrated architecture promotes hole extraction, interfacial charge transfer, and surface OER kinetics, highlighting cocatalyst microstructure regulation as a complementary strategy to hole transport layer engineering. ABSTRACT Solar‐driven
