Unusual displacement hull forms for higher speeds
International Shipbuilding Progress, 1959A sharp increase in the wave resistance has limited speeds of full-bodied surface vessels to a practical maximum which has sometimes been called the “wave barrier”. Two approaches towards increasing the top speed of displacement type surface ships are investigated herein.

Overall stability performance of alternative hull forms
Ocean Engineering, 2002In this paper, two alternative corvette hull forms namely, the round bottom and deep V have been comparatively analyzed in terms of intact and damaged stability and roll performance in beam waves. The boat is planned to operate in the Navy's coastal water missions.
