Adaptable, wearable, and stretchable coils: A review
Abstract Over the last four decades, there have been various evolutions in the design and development of coils, from volume coils to the recent introduction of wireless receive arrays. A recent aim has been to develop coils that can closely conform to the anatomy of interest to increase the acquired signal.

A working prototype of a novel 3D fluorescent microscope, designated CELS‐3D (Cutting Edge Light Source, Three‐Dimensional), was constructed and the proof of principle demonstrated. The light originating from the cutting edge of the glass knife forms a kind of light sheet suitable for fluorescence excitation and 3D imaging of fluorescent samples.
