Unveiling Macrophage Content as a Predictive Biomarker for Intraoperative ICG Imaging Efficacy in Lung Cancer

Indocyanine Green (ICG)‐guided lung cancer surgery efficacy varies significantly among patients. This study identifies tumor macrophage content as a predictive biomarker. Macrophages are primary ICG reservoirs, storing seven‐fold more ICG than cancer cells.

Microwave‐Activated Bacterial Biorobot for Multimodal Cancer Therapy

An Escherichia coli bacterial biorobot is engineered for localized microwave activation in cancer therapy. Upon activation at tumor sites, the biorobot releases glucose oxidase, inducing tumor cell death via glucose depletion and H2O2 generation catalyzed by Cu2O.

Lysosomal Cathepsin S Escape Facilitates Near Infrared Light‐Triggered Pyroptosis Via an Antibody‐Indocyanine Green Conjugate

ICAM1 antibody‐bound ICG triggers tumor‐specific, caspase‐1‐independent pyroptosis via CTSS‐mediated GSDMD cleavage, activates antitumor immunity, and synergizes with anti–PD‐1 therapy, offering a non‐apoptotic strategy to overcome resistance in cancer treatment.

KRAS mRNA Spleen‐Targeting Lipid Nanoparticles Synergize with Irinotecan Silicasomes to Robustly Augment the Cancer Immunity Cycle in Pancreatic Cancer

To overcome pancreatic cancer's immunosuppressive barriers, this study explores a dual approach: triggering immunogenic tumor cell death at the primary tumor site with irinotecan‐loaded silicasomes and enhancing immune activation in the spleen using LNPs encapsulating tumor antigen mRNA and a TLR7/8 agonist.

SIRT6 Lysine‐Demyristoylates ATF2 to Ameliorate Vascular Injury via PRKCD/VE‐Cadherin Pathway Regulating Vascular Endothelial Barrier

A novel modified SIRT6 variant (dSIRT6) H133Y‐mediated enrichment technique unmasks 15 new human lysine‐myristoylated proteins. Notably, Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) demyristoylation of activating transcription factor 2 (ATF2) at K296 orchestrates its nucleoplasmic translocation.
