Fundamental characteristics of the vestibular coordinate system in human craniology
The present study concerns with the methodological aspects of the vestibular method of orientating the cranium, which is mainly recommended for its physiological significance. Three dimensional coordinates of 36 landmarks were examined in the vestibular coordinate system which is defined by the plane of the lateral semicircular canals.

Abstract Background Ureteral ectopia is an uncommon but clinically important congenital abnormality in horses. If left untreated, it can lead to persistent dermatitis, urinary tract infections, and failure to thrive. Surgical correction is necessary, but traditional approaches have produced mixed results with high morbidity.

Abstract Background Equine neuroaxonal dystrophy/degenerative myeloencephalopathy (eNAD/EDM) is the second most common diagnosis of spinal ataxia in horses in the United States. The disease develops due to a combination of vitamin E deficiency and an unknown genetic risk factor(s), and there currently is no effective treatment.
