Chemical and spectroscopic analysis of olive mill waste water during a biological treatment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The treatment of olive mill waste water was studied on the laboratory scale. Physico–chemical analyses showed the final products had a mean pH of 5.4 without neutralisation and 5.7 when lime was added to the process.

Study on Lignite Humic Acids(III)On the Nitro Humic Acids.

open access: yesJournal of the Fuel Society of Japan, 1955

Acclimation with humic acids enhances maize and tomato tolerance to salinity

open access: yesChemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture, 2021
Background Salinity is one of the major environmental threats to agriculture, limiting plant growth and reducing crop yield. The use of humic substances to alleviate salt stress in plants is well reported, but the mechanisms remain unclear.

Possible role of organic matter in radiocaesium adsorption in soils [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The aim of this review is to examine the hypothesis that organic matter decreases the adsorption of radiocaesium on clay minerals. The factors that determine radiocaesium mobility and bioavailability in soil are briefly outlined to show why a ...

THE ASSESSMENT OF ANALYTICAL DOUBLE-SHOT PYROLYSIS WITH GAS CHROMATOGRAPH-MASS SPECTROMETRY APPLICATION OPPORTUNITY FOR THE HUMIC MATTER INVESTIGATION IN SITU

Double-shot pyrolysis with gas chromatography and mass detection (Double-shot GC MS) was conducted for a sample of typical chernozem and humic acids separated from it. The humic acids preparations were pyrolyzed at 500, 600 and 700°C.
