Mazus dabieshanensis sp. nov. (Mazaceae) from eastern China

Mazus dabieshanensis, a newly described species endemic to the Dabieshan Mountains in eastern China, is illustrated and described. Molecular phylogenetic analyses based on nuclear and chloroplast DNA sequences consistently demonstrate that this new species forms a stable clade with other Mazus species characterized by a pubescent ovary.
