Preparation for Spherical Humidity Control Composite Materials and their Humidity Control Properties

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
A spherical humidity control composite material with excellent humidity control performances has been prepared by twice foaming method. The composite comprises a natural polymer derivative (KGM), a porous natural mineral (Halloysite) and an Sodium polyacrylate (PAAS).

Temperature and Humidity Control

2015
The instruments to manipulate atoms or observe their motions require stricter environmental specifications than prior generations of equipment. The primary focus of this chapter is temperature and humidity control, two of the most critical variables that affect work at the nanometer scale.

Humidity control tool for neonatal incubator

Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing, 1998
In the first days of life, the daily evaporative loss from premature neonates can reach up to 20% of body mass. Such loss can be reduced by increasing the air humidity inside the incubator. Neither passive humidification nor open loop systems allow high humidity rates to be maintained or easily controlled: at 34 degrees C, the maximum levels vary with ...

Hydrophilic membrane-based humidity control

Journal of Membrane Science, 1998
A dehumidification system for low gravity plant growth experiments requires the generation of no free-liquid condensate and the recovery of water for reuse. In the systems discussed in this paper, the membrane is a barrier between the humid air phase and a liquid-coolant water phase.

Color control in reflection holograms by humidity

Applied Optics, 1991
A method is presented which permits control of the reconstruction wavelength of reflection holograms and holographic optical elements. This approach makes use of developer and bleach which minimize emulsion shrinkage combined with control of ambient humidity to control the emulsion shrinkage during formation and reconstruction.

Humidity Controlled Diffractometry and Its Applications

Advances in X-ray Analysis, 1992
AbstractHumidity sensitive mineral phases change their structure when humidity varies resulting in X-ray pattern changes in intensity, position, and shape of lines. These structural changes in hydrous minerals are induced by dehydration and rehydration, which can lead to phase transformations or to steady depletion which may result in a total structure

Humidity Control in a Containerized Station

INTELEC '87 - The Ninth International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 1987
When the compressor of a packaged air-conditioner for cooling a containerized station stops operating, the relative humidity of the room exceeds the upper limit of the specified range. The high relative humidity phenomenon is caused by water forming on the cooling coil of the air-conditioner.

Controlling the Temperature and Humidity in a Greenhouse

2019 IEEE 25th International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME), 2019
The paper presents a solution to control the temperature and humidity in a greenhouse. A previous implementation was based on the exchange of air masses between the interior and exterior of the greenhouse. But it was difficult to obtain a lower and stable inside air temperature than outside.

A humidity control system for a small chamber

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1968
Wet and dry air streams are mixed in controlled proportions to achieve any desired relative humidity in the range 5 to 99% inside a 30 1. chamber maintained at 30°C. The selected value is automatically maintained constant to better than ±1% over a period of several days by a system of monitoring and electronic control.
