The normal visual field on the Humphrey field analyzer.
Ophthalmologica, 1986To provide a bank of normal perimetric data, we tested the central and peripheral visual fields of 102 novice normal subjects using the Humphrey automated perimeter. All eyes used for visual field testing were first carefully examined to be sure that they were, indeed, normal. We calculated population means and standard deviations of each test location

A multicenter comparison study of the Humphrey Field Analyzer I and the Humphrey Field Analyzer II.
Ophthalmology, 1997The purpose of the study is to determine the comparability of the 30-2 full-threshold program in the original Humphrey Field Analyzer (HFA) I to the same test procedure in the new Humphrey Field Analyzer II.At each of five clinical centers, one eye of patients with ocular hypertension and normal visual fields, patients with early glaucomatous visual ...

Peripheral Visual Field Thresholds using Humphrey Field Analyzer Program 60–4 in Normal Eyes
European Journal of Ophthalmology, 2011Purpose Various methods have been used for testing peripheral visual field disturbances such as defects caused by drug toxicity. Static threshold perimetry with Humphrey Field Analyzer (HFA) is widely available. The aim of this study was to better define the normal thresholds for peripheral visual field (PVF) sensitivity and to refine analysis ...

A Humphrey automated perimeter was used to measure the central 24 degrees of vision with static threshold targets and the peripheral field with two automatic kinetic stimuli in 100 eyes of 100 patients with glaucoma or a suspicion of glaucoma and to compare the additional information gained with the peripheral tests.

Comparing the Performance of Compass Perimetry With Humphrey Field Analyzer in Eyes With Glaucoma
Journal of Glaucoma, 2017Purpose: To evaluate the reliability indices [fixation losses, false negative response rates (FN) and false positive response rates] and threshold sensitivities obtained from glaucoma patients with a Compass perimeter and to compare the same with the Humphrey field analyzer (HFA). Methods:

Preliminary Clinical Trials with the Humphrey Field Analyzer
1985The Humphrey Field Analyzer is a new automated perimeter that performs static threshold testing and suprathreshold static testing. The static threshold test procedures use a target presentation pattern and staircase testing strategy that is similar to those employed on the Octopus and Squid automated perimeters.
