Measurement of aquatic humus content by spectroscopic analyses
Water Research, 2000Abstract To develop a specified method to estimate humus contents in natural fresh waters, the colour of humic water samples was measured for fractionated and original water samples by spectrophotometry. The results were compared to those of the comparator method and they support the use of 400 or 465 nm.

Humus contents and transformations in native and cultivated soils
Science of The Total Environment, 1990Abstract In spite of obvious differences in total humus content, and in the relative proportions of humus fractions from one soil to another, the relationships between the ecology and chemical nature of humus are still incompletely elucidated. Most studies centre upon the polymeric nature of humic acids, the mechanisms involved in their formation ...

HUMU CONTENT IN THE SOILS OF THE LOW ZONE OF THE TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION
PROBLEMS OF AGROINDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF KARPATY, 2023On the basis of research carried out in the XI round of ecological and agrochemical certification, the humus condition of the soils of the lowland zone of the Zakarpattia region is shown.Qualitative and quantitative changes in soil properties and the content of humus and nutrients in it are influenced by long-term and systematic soil cultivation ...

Metal Contents in Different Disintegration Fractions of Mor Humus
Zeitschrift für Pflanzenernährung und Bodenkunde, 1992AbstractSamples from subhorizons Ol, Of, and Oh of forest soils were separated be screening them into five disintegration fractions. Metal contents have been determined in individual fraction.With increasing transformation of the organic material in the most samples there proceeds a concentration of heavy metals in the order: Fe>Cu>Ni>Zn>Pb;

Dynamics of Radiobrightness Temperature of Soils with Different Humus Content
Mapping Sciences and Remote Sensing, 2002The results of an experimental investigation of the dynamics of radiobrightness temperature of soils with a different humus content at frequencies 6.25 and 8.0 GHz are given. It is shown that after sufficiently strong irrigation of the surface of trial sectors, a radiobrightness contrast appears as a result of differential change in soil structure and ...

Effect of Sewage Sludge on Soil Humus Content
1983The addition of organic matter to sandy soils has improved soil properties. At Agricultural Research Centre, Finland, we would like to find out what happens, when sewage sludge is added to soil with good growing condition.

Effect of sideral fertilizer on the content of humus in the soil
АгрохимияIn a long-term experiment, which was laid down in 1971, in 2 bookmarks with an interval of one year, the effect of sideral fertilizer on the humus content in the soil during 6 rotations of an 8-field crop rotation was studied. The soil is sod-medium-podzolic medium loam on a cover red-brown heavy loam with agrochemical indicators of the arable layer ...

ASSESSMENT OF THE HUMUS CONTENT IN THE SOILS OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS OF KOSTANAY REGION
3i intellect idea innovation - интеллект идея инновацияThis article discusses the humus content, which is one of the most important indicators of soil fertility and directly affects the productivity of agricultural land. In the conditions of Kostanay region, where chernozem and chestnut soils are subjected to prolonged agricultural use, the assessment of the dynamics of humus content is of particular ...
