Certain Extension of the Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta Function and its Properties

open access: yesمجلّة جامعة عدن للعلوم الأساسيّة والتّطبيقيّة, 2020
The main object of this paper is to introduce a new extension of Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function by using the extended Beta function given in [1]. Some recurrence relations, generating functions and integral representations are derived for that new extension.

A procedure for generating infinite series identities

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2004
A procedure for generating infinite series identities makes use of the generalized method of exhaustion by analytically evaluating the inner series of the resulting double summation.

Certain inequalities for the modified Bessel-type function

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
We establish some new inequalities for the modified Bessel-type function λν,σ(β)(x) $\lambda _{\nu ,\sigma }^{(\beta )} (x )$ studied by Glaeske et al. [in J. Comput. Appl. Math.

On a Certain Subclass of Meromorphic Functions Defined by a New Linear Differential Operator

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2017
In this article, a new linear differential operator I^k (L_s^a (a_l,b_m )f(z)) is defined by using the Hadamard product of the q-hypergeometric function and a function related to the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function. By using this linear differential operator,

A New Representation for Srivastava’s λ-Generalized Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta Functions [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2018
Taking inspiration principally from some of the latest research, we develop a new series representation for the λ-generalized Hurwitz-Lerch zeta functions. This representation led to important new results. The Fourier transform played a foundational role in this work.

Real zeros of Hurwitz–Lerch zeta functions in the interval (−1,0)

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2016
For $0 < a \le 1$, $s,z \in {\mathbb{C}}$ and $0 < |z|\le 1$, the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function is defined by $ (s,a,z) := \sum_{n=0}^\infty z^n(n+a)^{-s}$ when $ :=\Re (s) >1$. In this paper, we show that $ ( ,a,z) \ne 0$ when $ \in (-1,0)$ if and only if [I] $z=1$ and $(3-\sqrt{3}) /6 \le a \le 1/2$ or $(3+\sqrt{3}) /6 \le a \le 1$, [II] $

Some New Results Involving the Generalized Bose–Einstein and Fermi–Dirac Functions

open access: yesAxioms, 2019
In this paper, we obtain a new series representation for the generalized Bose−Einstein and Fermi−Dirac functions by using fractional Weyl transform.

Fuzzy Subordination Results for Meromorphic Functions Associated with Hurwitz–Lerch Zeta Function

open access: yesMathematics
The notion of the fuzzy set was incorporated into geometric function theory in recent years, leading to the emergence of fuzzy differential subordination theory, which is a generalization of the classical differential subordination notion.
