A Double Logarithmic Transform Involving the Exponential and Polynomial Functions Expressed in Terms of the Hurwitz–Lerch Zeta Function

open access: yes, 2021
The object of this paper is to derive a double integral in terms of the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function. Almost all Hurwitz–Lerch zeta functions have an asymmetrical zero-distribution. Special cases are evaluated in terms of fundamental constants.

A New Family of the λ-Generalized Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta Functions with Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
: Motivated largely by a number of recent investigations, we introduce and investigate the various properties of a certain new family of the λ-generalized Hurwitz-Lerch zeta functions.

Real zeros of Hurwitz–Lerch zeta and Hurwitz–Lerch type of Euler–Zagier double zeta functions [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 2015
AbstractLet 0 < a ⩽ 1, s, z ∈ ${\mathbb{C}}$ and 0 < |z| ⩽ 1. Then the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function is defined by Φ(s, a, z) ≔ ∑∞n = 0zn(n + a)− s when σ ≔ ℜ(s) > 1. In this paper, we show that the Hurwitz zeta function ζ(σ, a) ≔ Φ(σ, a, 1) does not vanish for all 0 < σ < 1 if and only if a ⩾ 1/2.

Remark on the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function [PDF]

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2013
By the Poisson summation formula, relating a function with its Fourier coefficients, the author obtaines the analytic continuation and a functional relation for a certain Lerch zeta function. The author also deduces \textit{T. M. Apostol}'s result [Pac. J. Math. 1, 161--167 (1951; Zbl 0043.07103)] about the Lerch zeta function and a functional relation

On a Certain Extension of the Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta Function [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of West University of Timisoara - Mathematics, 2014
AbstractOur purpose in this paper is to consider a generalized form of the extended Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function. For this extended Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function, we obtain some classical properties which includes various integral representations, a differential formula, Mellin transforms and certain generating relations.

Applications of the Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta-Function [PDF]

open access: yesPure and Applied Mathematics Journal, 2015
In this paper, we shall exhibit the use of two principles, “principle of decomposition into residue classes” and “binomial principle of analytic continuation” due to Ram Murty and Sinha and indicate a certain distribution property and the functional equation for the Lipschitz-Lerch transcendent at integral arguments ofs.

Two-sided inequalities for the extended Hurwitz–Lerch Zeta function

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 2011
Recently, Srivastava et al \cite{; ; SSPS}; ; unified and extended several interesting generali-zations of the familiar Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function $\Phi(z, s, a)$ by introducing a Fox-Wright type generalized hypergeometric function in the kernel.

On a Certain Subclass of Meromorphic Functions Defined by a New Linear Differential Operator

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2017
In this article, a new linear differential operator I^k (L_s^a (a_l,b_m )f(z)) is defined by using the Hadamard product of the q-hypergeometric function and a function related to the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function. By using this linear differential operator,
