JOINT UNIVERSALITY OF HURWITZ ZETA-FUNCTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2012
AbstractIt is well known that Hurwitz zeta-functions with algebraically independent parameters over the field of rational numbers are universal in the sense that their shifts approximate simultaneously any collection of analytic functions. In this paper we introduce some classes of universal composite functions of a collection of Hurwitz zeta-functions.

A NEW EXTENSION OF THE HURWITZ- LERCH ZETA FUNCTION AND PROPERTIES USING THE EXTENDED BETA FUNCTION \(B_{p,q}^{(ρ,σ,τ)}(x,y)\)

open access: yesمجلّة جامعة عدن للعلوم الأساسيّة والتّطبيقيّة, 2020
The purpose of present paper is to introduce a new extension of Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function by using the extended Beta function. Some recurrence relations, generating relations and integral representations are derived for that new extension.

Pseudo, or Not? Neo‐Goodwinian Growth Cycles With Financial Linkages

open access: yesMetroeconomica, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A profit‐led Goodwin mechanism generates the observed counterclockwise activity–labor share cycle. Introducing a financial linkage can reproduce this pattern even when demand is not profit‐led. This paper extends neo‐Goodwinian theory by incorporating the valuation ratio into a four‐dimensional model.

Some Weighted Sum Formulas for Multiple Zeta, Hurwitz Zeta, and Alternating Multiple Zeta Values

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
We perform a further investigation for the multiple zeta values and their variations and generalizations in this paper. By making use of the method of the generating functions and some connections between the higher-order trigonometric functions and the ...

On the canonical bundle formula in positive characteristic

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Let f:X→Z$f:X\to Z$ be a fibration from a normal projective variety X$X$ of dimension n$n$ onto a normal curve Z$Z$ over a perfect field of characteristic p>2$p>2$. Let (X,B)$(X,B)$ be a dlt pair such that the induced pair on a general fibre is log canonical.

Universality Theorems for Some Composite Functions

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2016
In [5], it was proved that a collection consisting from Dirichlet L-functions and periodic Hurwitz zeta-functions is universal in the sense that the shifts of those functions approximate simultaneously a given collection of analytic functions.

Motivic mirror symmetry and χ$\chi$‐independence for Higgs bundles in arbitrary characteristic

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 132, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We prove that the (twisted orbifold) motives of the moduli spaces of SLn$\mathrm{SL}_n$ and PGLn$\mathrm{PGL}_n$‐Higgs bundles of coprime rank and degree on a smooth projective curve over an algebraically closed field in which the rank is invertible are isomorphic in Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives.

Adaptive mixing formation control of multiquadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle systems

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, Volume 28, Issue 3, Page 1073-1085, May 2026.
Abstract This paper presents a distributed adaptive mixing control (AMC) design for formation maintenance of systems of multiquadrotor UAVs (q‐UAVs) during commanded path‐tracking maneuvers. The proposed formation control scheme has a two‐level structure. The high level defines the desired trajectories for rigid and persistent formation acquisition and

A Covert Cyber‐Attack Framework and Detection on Communication Links in Linear Multi‐Agent Cyber‐Physical Systems

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
A covert attack architecture and detection approach in communication networks for homogenous and linear multi‐agent systems (MASs). A residual‐based detection method, exploiting a Kamlan filter observer and extra dynamic, is proposed to detect covert attacks on agents' communication channels.

Sharp Inequalities for the Hurwitz Zeta Function

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 2005
Let \[ Q_{n,m}(p,a)=\left ({\zeta(p,a) - \sum_{\nu=0}^{n}(\nu+a)^{-p}}\over{\zeta(p,a) - \sum_{\nu=0}^{m}(\nu+a)^{-p}}\right )^{1\over{p-1}}, \] where \(m,n\in {\mathbb Z}\) with \(m>n \geq 0, p>1, a>0\) and \(\zeta(s,a) (s\in{\mathbb C},a>0)\) denotes the Hurwitz zeta function.
