Towards Power Import and Regional Grid Interconnection: A Singapore‐Centric Energy Internet
ABSTRACT Singapore is accelerating its energy transition by pursuing large‐scale cross‐border renewable power import and regional grid interconnection. Targeting up to 6 GW of low‐carbon power import by 2035—equivalent to nearly half of its projected electricity demand—Singapore is poised to transform from a gas‐dominated urban power system into a ...

Busbar Configurations for HVDC Grids
The development of HVDC grids requires analyzing the configuration of DC busbars for the connection of converters and for meshing the grid, taking into account the specific characteristics of DC regarding fault clearance and current interruption. In principle, similar busbar topologies to those used in AC systems can be used.

DC converter (M2DC) for HVDC grid
The Modular Multi-Level DC-DC Converter (M2DC) is an attractive non-isolated DC-DC converter topology for HVDC grid. In order to carry out MTDC grid stability studies, the development of reduce order models of converters is necessary. This article first presents the M2DC converter. Then, the reduce order model will be developed in the second part.

Due to complex wind farm conditions, a coordinated control system was designed. It manages DC power surges during AC faults by temporarily storing excess energy and regulating voltages. This strategy optimizes unbalanced power and enables effective fault recovery, resulting in minimal voltage fluctuations and superior performance.

ABSTRACT The harmonic current and vibration of a converter transformer are effective pieces of information for detecting mechanical faults in the winding. In this paper, the ratio of vibration acceleration to the current squared is defined as the vibration frequency response function (VFRF) of the winding, and then, a novel online vibration frequency ...
