Hybrid Electric Aircraft With Unlike Engine Degradation

Volume 4: Controls, Diagnostics, and Instrumentation
Abstract Control solutions are applied to uneven engine performance degradation on a conceptual twin-engine transport-class aircraft. Such degradation can lead to asymmetric thrust, which requires rudder trim to maintain desired aircraft heading. This will increase drag and fuel consumption.
