The present study examines the impact of unsteady viscous flow in a squeezing channel. Silver–gold hybrid nanofluid particles with different shapes are inserted in the base fluid engine oil. Flow and heat transfer mechanism is detected in the presence of

Hybrid functionals based on a screened Coulomb potential
, 2003Hybrid density functionals are very successful in describing a wide range of molecular properties accurately. In large molecules and solids, however, calculating the exact (Hartree–Fock) exchange is computationally expensive, especially for systems with ...

A review on the recent advances in hybrid supercapacitors
Journal of Materials Chemistry A, 2021Faradaic and non-faradaic energy storage mechanisms, impact of the nano-structuring of electrode materials and state-of-art applications in robotics, etc. of hybrid supercapacitors, and their coupling with batteries and solar cells are elucidated.

To hybridize or not to hybridize? This is the dilemma
Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, 2017Abstract A general approach to hybridization, without imposing orthogonality of the hybrids of the central atom, is formulated. It is shown that the overlapping hybrids follow the rules of electronegativity of the central atom, and they increase with the increase of electronegativity (e.g. NH 4 + > CH 4 > BH 4 − ).

Influence of the exchange screening parameter on the performance of screened hybrid functionals.
Journal of Chemical Physics, 2006This work reexamines the effect of the exchange screening parameter omega on the performance of the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE) screened hybrid functional. We show that variation of the screening parameter influences solid band gaps the most.

Multiple Lyapunov functions and other analysis tools for switched and hybrid systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1998We introduce some analysis tools for switched and hybrid systems. We first present work on stability analysis. We introduce multiple Lyapunov functions as a tool for analyzing Lyapunov stability and use iterated function systems theory as a tool for ...

BUILDING SUSTAINABLE HYBRID ORGANIZATIONS: THE CASE OF COMMERCIAL MICROFINANCE ORGANIZATIONS
, 2010We explore how new types of hybrid organizations (organizations that combine institutional logics in unprecedented ways) can develop and maintain their hybrid nature in the absence of a “ready-to-w...

Hybrid porous solids: past, present, future.
Chemical Society Reviews, 2008This critical review will be of interest to the experts in porous solids (including catalysis), but also solid state chemists and physicists. It presents the state-of-the-art on hybrid porous solids, their advantages, their new routes of synthesis, the ...

Hybrid zones are, roughly speaking, narrow regions in which genetically distinct populations meet, mate, and produce hybrids. They are often only a few hundred meters wide and yet may be several hundred kilometers long.
