Ring-resonator-based wavelength filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Microring resonators (MR) represent a class of filters with characteristics very similar to those of Fabry–Perot filters. However, they offer the advantage that the injected and reflected signals are separated in individual waveguides, and in addition ...

Performance comparison of hybrid active power filter for p-q theory and SVPWM technique

open access: yes, 2021
Harmonic Distortion in many of the industrial applications are occur primarily owing to the enormous utilization of loads with high non-linearity like power converters, speed varying drives and arc furnaces. The power semiconductor is used to achieve the

MnI‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Framework as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction in a Catholyte‐Free Zero‐Gap Electrolyzer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Hybrid Active Power Filter Connected to a Photovoltaic Array [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2009
The existence of nonlinear loads in the utility has been increasing at an unprecedented pace in recent years. These types of loads draw non-sinusoidal currents from the mains, causing harmonic distortion.

Genetic and combinatorial algorithms for optimal sizing and placement of active power filters

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2015
The paper deals with cost effective compensator placement and sizing. It becomes one of the most important problems in contemporary electrical networks, in which voltage and current waveform distortions increase year-by-year reaching or even exceeding ...

On the Use of the p-q Theory for Harmonic Current Cancellation with Shunt Active Filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Discussion and mathematical proof on necessary and sufficient conditions for the application of the {p-q} theory for compensating the harmonic currents consumed by non-linear load using a shunt active filter are presented.

Copper Doping Enhances the Activity and Selectivity of Atomically Precise Ag44 Nanoclusters for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...
