Compositional Contraction Analysis of Resetting Hybrid Systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2006This note develops sufficient conditions for exponential convergence of resetting hybrid nonlinear dynamical systems. Using nonlinear contraction theory, the analysis first develops a unified formulation of continuous-time and discrete-time nonlinear dynamics based on a differential transition matrix.

Coincidence Theorems for Hybrid Contractions
Mathematische Nachrichten, 1986Let X denote an arbitrary nonempty set, (M,d) a metric space, and S,T two mappings defined on X and taking values in M. \textit{K. Goebel} [Bull. Acad. Pol. Sci., Sér. Math. Astron. Phys. 16, 733-735 (1968; Zbl 0165.498)] has shown that if T(X) is a complete subspace of M with S(X)\(\subset T(X)\), then the condition d(SxSy)\(\leq kd(TxTy)\) for fixed \

A hybrid representation model for service contracts
2015 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Research (ICTRC), 2015The lack of control on personal data/processes and trust in their management by a third party is a well-known problem that limits the success of the cloud computing paradigm. Organizations and final users are increasingly reluctant to move their assets (i.e., services, business data, and personal information) to the cloud, and to participate in an ...

Hybrid-Trusted Party Contract Agrees on Clients Input
2020 IEEE 3rd 5G World Forum (5GWF), 2020Modern applications implemented on distributed ledgers and blockchain platforms serve a wide variety of purposes in automating business and end-user processes. Smart contracts, which are immutable records of functions, are used to mitigate and reduce the administration cost of these implementations.

Results on Nonlinear Hybrid Contractions Satisfying a Rational Inequality
Southeast Asian Bulletin of Mathematics, 2003The authors consider weak commutativity conditions of maps and multivalued maps defined on complete metric spaces giving common fixed point theorems under a rational inequality.

Change and Delay Contracts for Hybrid System Component Verification
2017In this paper, we present reasoning techniques for a component-based modeling and verification approach for hybrid systems comprising discrete dynamics as well as continuous dynamics, in which the components have local responsibilities. Our approach supports component contracts i.e., input assumptions and output guarantees of interfaces that are more ...
