Indolo‐Fused MR‐TADF Materials and their Application in Organelle‐Targeted Bioimaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Using indolo‐fusion and sulfur bridging, four multi‐resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescent (MR‐TADF) materials are reported based on the quinolino[3,2,1‐de]acridine‐5,9‐dione (QAO) framework. Functionalization of these dyes with phosphonium groups enables cellular imaging with mitochondrial targeting in glassy organic nanoparticles ...

Robust Interlayer Exciton Interplay in a Twisted van der Waals Heterotrilayer on a Broadband Bragg Reflector up to Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we highlight a unique material platform capable of producing three distinct room temperature (RT) photoluminescence (PL) resonances from spatially separated regions composed of a heterobilayer (HBL), a homobilayer (HoBL), and an heterotrilayer (HTL) transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) heterostructures configuration on a highly ...

Influence of Winding Configurations and Stator/Rotor Pole Combinations on Field Back-EMF Ripple in Switched Flux Hybrid Excited Machines

open access: yesEnergies
Similar to armature back electromotive force (armature back-EMF), the back-EMF also exists in the field winding of hybrid excited machines. However, the existence of field back electromotive force (field back-EMF) is harmful to the safe and stable ...

A Hybrid Approach for Fast Computation of Multiple Incident Angles Electromagnetic Scattering Problems with Compressive Sensing and Adaptive Cross Approximation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2016
A hybrid compressive approach for fast computation of the electromagnetic scattering problems with multiple incident angles is proposed. The compressive sensing (CS) technique is firstly introduced to the method of moment (MoM) to reduce the number of ...

Decoupling Light Absorption From Photocatalytic Reactivity in TiO2 via Defect and Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid photoprotective material integrates N‐doped TiO2 with a metal‐phenolic network (MPN) to achieve broad‐spectrum attenuation and robust reactive oxygen species (ROS) suppression. Nitrogen doping extends attenuation into the UVA/high energy visible light (HEV) regions and facilitates fast charge recombination to inhibit ROS formation.

Design and Performance Characterization of the E-Core Outer-Rotor Hybrid-Excitation Flux Switching Machine

open access: yesEnergies
This paper proposes an E-core outer-rotor hybrid-excitation flux switching (OR-HEFS) machine for in-wheel direct driving application. According to the general air gap field modulation theory, the magneto-motive force (MMF) permeance model was established

Mimicking Silent Synapse Recruitment: A SiOx/Cu‐Pancake Memristive Device For Analog Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

Electromagnetic characteristic of a novel hybrid excitation generator for vehicles based on the field-and-circuit method

open access: yesFrontiers in Mechanical Engineering
IntroductionThe electro-magnetic generator commonly used in automobiles generally has high excitation loss leading to low efficiency. And it cannot effectively provide power for the vehicle, thus shortening battery life.In order to solve the issues, a ...
