Cell Hybridization by Electrofusion on Filters

Analytical Biochemistry, 2002
Electric field pulses induce permeabilization and associated fusogenicity in cell membranes. Electrofusion of cells is usually performed in two steps: the first is the creation of close intercellular contacts; the second is an application of electric pulses that induces membrane fusion.

Nonlinear filtering: a hybrid approximation scheme

Proceedings of the 38th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.99CH36304), 2001
This paper is concerned with nonlinear filtering schemes for systems which allow non-Gaussian noise. Using the most probable trajectory (MPT) approach, a finite-dimensional recursive hybrid filtering scheme is derived. By appropriately selecting a switching process, a linear hybrid system can be obtained that approximates the original nonlinear system.

Hybrid filter for lock-in amplifiers

Review of Scientific Instruments
Lock-in amplifiers are instrumental in the precise measurement of extremely small AC signals within high-noise environments. Traditionally, noise reduction in these instruments relies on infinite impulse response (IIR) filters, which can necessitate prolonged settling times to ensure the acquisition of accurate, statistically independent data.

Hybrid approach for rugate filter design

Applied Optics, 2007
Fourier techniques and direct optimization are applied to the synthesis of complex rugate filters. A hybrid approach is presented. The design strategies are illustrated numerically for different spectral shapes.

The Hybrid Filter Trauma

The Hybrid Filter: Trauma, Culture, and the Silence of the Stars  The Hybrid Filter Hypothesis is a falsifiable cultural‑ecological model predicting transient technosignatures (ʻOumuamua‑like anomalies, faint infrared excesses, derelict habitats) and excluding faster‑than‑light colonization or galactic empires.

A Switchable Active Filter Hybrid

IEEE Transactions on Parts, Hybrids, and Packaging, 1976
A unique active bandpass filter is described, which is capable of selecting any of 12 different frequencies as defined by a digital input. This device utilizes both thick- and thin-film technologies to their best advantages. Filtering is performed by a state variable active filter circuit designed around a custom linear integrated circuit (lC) and ...
