Light reflectance increases along incidence angle and transmittance significantly drops around 90‐degree incidence angle. Here, we report two‐photon laser printed micro mirrors that redirect the skimming light beam into normal light absorption. Using this technique, light‐driven micro walkers and grippers are demonstrated by using grazing incidence ...

A hybrid flow shop scheduling problem in ink production
This study concerns with Hybrid Flow Shop Scheduling (HFS) problem and its real world application in a factory that produces ink and related special paints. There are many variations of HFS depending on the machine environment, process (job) characteristics and objective function. This study focus on a special variation that includes the constraints of

MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Models and algorithms for batch scheduling and hybrid flow shop scheduling.
This doctoral dissertation studies scheduling problems with batch processing and hybrid flow shop. These two kinds of environments exist widely in practice, e.g., semiconductor production, steel, 3D printing, and so on, which makes them important from both theoretical and practical points of view. For three problems, we provide models and algorithms to
