Hybrid processes in manufacturing
CIRP Annals, 2014Abstract Hybrid manufacturing processes are based on the simultaneous and controlled interaction of process mechanisms and/or energy sources/tools having a significant effect on the process performance. These processes have a large influence on the processing/manufacturing characteristics resulting in higher machinability, reductions of process ...

Hybrid Composite Materials and Manufacturing
2022Composite materials have become widely used for high-performance applications, particularly in the aerospace industry where annual production volumes are low and a higher part cost can be supported. During the last decades composite materials are beginning to see use in a broader range of applications, including the automotive and sports equipment ...

Hybrid multisite testing at manufacturing
International Test Conference, 2003. Proceedings. ITC 2003., 2004This paper deals with Hybrid multisite testing of VLSI chips by utilizing automatic test equipment (ATE) in connection with built-in self-test (BIST). The performance of a multisite testing process is analyzed using device-under-test (OUT) parameters (such as yield and average number of faults per DUT) as well as test process features (such as number ...

Supporting hybrid manufacturing
2016In this paper, we outline the architecture design of the HORSE system for support of hybrid manufacturing processes. The HORSE project aims at providing integrated end-to-end manufacturing process management and advanced control of hybrid manufacturing work cells. In these hybrid cells, human and robotic actors collaborate flexibly and safely.
