RECENT ADVANCEMENT IN THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF NANOFLUIDS AND HYBRID NANOFLUIDS: AN OVERVIEW

open access: yesCity University International Journal of Computational Analysis, 2020
Recently, the new advancement in nanotechnology leads to production a new group of fluids (nanofluids) with innovative heat transport properties. These fluids are developed by dispersing nanometer-sized particles ranging from 10-50nm in the conventional heat transfer fluids. Nanofluids perform substantially in numerous areas of science and engineering.

Nanofluidic mixing via hybrid surface [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Physics Letters, 2014
We report the design and fabrication of the nanofluidic mixer comprising hybrid hydrophobic/hydrophilic micro-patterns on the top and bottom walls of the nanochannel. The unique feature of such mixer is that, without any geometric structure inside the nanochannel, the mixing can be realized solely by the hybrid surfaces.

Antiwear performance of ionic liquid+graphene dispersions with anomalous viscosity-temperature behavior [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
New dispersions of few-layers graphene (G) in 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ([EMIM]) ionic liquids (ILs) with dicyanamide ([DCA]) or bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([TFSI]) anions have been obtained by mechanical mixing and sonication.

Thermal Non-Equilibrium Heat Transfer Modeling of Hybrid Nanofluids in a Structure Composed of the Layers of Solid and Porous Media and Free Nanofluids

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
The free convection heat transfer of hybrid nanofluids in a cavity space composed of a clear flow, porous medium and a solid part is addressed. The cavity is heated from the bottom and cooled from the top. The side walls are well insulated.
