To evaluate differences among 19 different ploidy hybrid poplar clones grown in northeast China, 21 traits related to growth traits and photosynthetic characteristics were detected and analyzed. Abundant phenotypic variations exist among and within populations, and these variations are the basis of forest tree genetic improvements.

SlGRF1 mediates gibberellin signaling to control cut‐budding in tomato
Upon wounding, cytokinin increases to initiate callus formation. Gibberellin enhances this, but later blocks bud formation by suppressing SlGRF1. Wounding‐induced protein SlGRF1 triggers buds via NAM1, EPF4, and ER2. Hormonal shifts control cut‐budding phases.
