One hundred and thirtysix hybrids were developed utilizing four cytoplasmic genetic male sterile lines (V 20A, Zhen Shan 97A, IR 46829A and IR 46830A) and 34 effective restorers. Heterosis, heterobeltiosis and standard heterosis were found to be significant for grain yield and other yield attributing characters in most of the hybrids. The heterosis for

TNAU Rice Hybrid CO4 – A New Fine Grain Rice Hybrid
Madras Agricultural Journal, 2013TNAU Rice Hybrid CO 4 (TNRH 174) a derivative of the cross TNAU CMS 23 A/ CB 174 R, released during the year 2011 matures in 130-135. The hybrid recorded a mean productivity of 7327 Kg/ha with 14.5 and 11.3 per cent increase over CO (R) 49, the fine rice check variety and 27P11, the private hybrid respectively.

A hybrid rice optimization algorithm
2016 11th International Conference on Computer Science & Education (ICCSE), 2016An optimization algorithm called hybrid rice optimization algorithm (HRO) is proposed in the paper which is inspired by the breeding process of three line hybrid rice. The three line are sterile line, maintainer line, restorer line. The sterile line is hybridized with the maintainer line to produce the hybrid rice.
