Color halo scenario of charmonium-like hybrids * [PDF]

open access: yesChinese Physics C, 2021
Abstract The internal structures of charmonium-like hybrids are investigated under lattice QCD in the quenched approximation. We define the Bethe-Salpeter wave function ( ) in the Coulomb gauge as the ...

Cosmological Dynamics of a Hybrid Chameleon Scenario [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2013
We consider a hybrid scalar field which is nonminimally coupled to the matter and models a chameleon cosmology. By introducing an effective potential, we study the dependence of the effective potential's minimum and hybrid chameleon field's masses on the local matter density. In a dynamical system technique, we analyze the phase space of this two-field

On hybrid scenarios in KSTAR

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2020
We report the status of hybrid scenario experiments in Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR). The hybrid scenario is defined as stationary discharges with B N >= 2.4 and H_89 >= 2.0 at q_95 < 6.5 without or with very mild sawtooth activities in KSTAR. It is being developed towards reactor-relevant conditions.

Hybrid testbed for network scenarios [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 3rd International ICST Conference on Simulation Tools and Techniques, 2010
In this paper we explain the deployment of a testbed that emulates a network by means of virtualization, allowing us to implement a set of virtual nodes in one physical machine or a small LAN. Nodes participating in the communication are virtual machines adequately connected. The system is a hybrid testbed, as it includes simulation and emulation.

Analysis of plasma termination in the JET hybrid scenario [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2018
This paper analyses the final phase of hybrid scenario discharges at JET, the reduction of auxiliary heating towards finally the Ohmic phase. The here considered Ohmic phase is mostly still in the current flattop but may also be in the current ramp down.

Helical ITER hybrid scenario equilibria [PDF]

open access: yesPlasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, 2011
Numerical computations of ITER equilibria in the hybrid scenario using a three-dimensional (3D) magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium code with nested magnetic flux surfaces demonstrate the formation of internal 3D helical cores similar to saturated ideal internal kink modes under reversed magnetic shear conditions when the minimum value of the inverse ...

A Hybrid Adversarial Attack for Different Application Scenarios [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Adversarial attack against natural language has been a hot topic in the field of artificial intelligence security in recent years. It is mainly to study the methods and implementation of generating adversarial examples. The purpose is to better deal with the vulnerability and security of deep learning systems.

The JET hybrid scenario in Deuterium, Tritium and Deuterium-Tritium

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
Abstract The JET hybrid scenario has been developed from low plasma current carbon wall discharges to the record-breaking Deuterium-Tritium plasmas obtained in 2021 with the ITER-like Be/W wall. The development started in pure Deuterium with refinement of the plasma current, and toroidal magnetic field choices and succeeded in solving ...

Phenomenology of hybrid scenarios of neutrino dark energy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2008
We study the phenomenology of hybrid scenarios of neutrino dark energy, where in addition to a so-called Mass Varying Neutrino (MaVaN) sector a cosmological constant (from a false vacuum) is driving the accelerated expansion of the universe today. For general power law potentials we calculate the effective equation of state parameter w_{eff}(z) in ...
