Cosmological Dynamics of a Hybrid Chameleon Scenario [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2013
We consider a hybrid scalar field which is nonminimally coupled to the matter and models a chameleon cosmology. By introducing an effective potential, we study the dependence of the effective potential's minimum and hybrid chameleon field's masses on the

Multi-view structure-from-motion for hybrid camera scenarios

open access: greenImage and Vision Computing, 2012
We describe a pipeline for structure-from-motion (SfM) with mixed camera types, namely omnidirectional and perspective cameras. For the steps of this pipeline, we propose new approaches or adapt the existing perspective camera methods to make the pipeline effective and automatic. We model our cameras of different types with the sphere camera model.

Color halo scenario of charmonium-like hybrids * [PDF]

open access: yesChinese Physics C, 2021
Abstract The internal structures of charmonium-like hybrids are investigated under lattice QCD in the quenched approximation. We define the Bethe-Salpeter wave function ( ) in the Coulomb gauge as the ...

The physics basis to integrate an MHD stable, high-power hybrid scenario to a cool divertor for steady-state reactor operation

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
Coupling a high-performance core to a low heat flux divertor is a crucial step for ITER and a Fusion Pilot Plant or DEMO. Experiments in DIII-D recently expanded the steady-state hybrid scenario to high density and divertor impurity injection to study ...

The JET hybrid scenario in Deuterium, Tritium and Deuterium-Tritium

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
The JET hybrid scenario has been developed from low plasma current carbon wall discharges to the record-breaking Deuterium-Tritium plasmas obtained in 2021 with the ITER-like Be/W wall.

Hybrid testbed for network scenarios [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 3rd International ICST Conference on Simulation Tools and Techniques, 2010
In this paper we explain the deployment of a testbed that emulates a network by means of virtualization, allowing us to implement a set of virtual nodes in one physical machine or a small LAN. Nodes participating in the communication are virtual machines adequately connected. The system is a hybrid testbed, as it includes simulation and emulation.

Helical ITER hybrid scenario equilibria [PDF]

open access: yesPlasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, 2011
Numerical computations of ITER equilibria in the hybrid scenario using a three-dimensional (3D) magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium code with nested magnetic flux surfaces demonstrate the formation of internal 3D helical cores similar to saturated ideal internal kink modes under reversed magnetic shear conditions when the minimum value of the inverse ...

Software-assisted dosimetry in peptide receptor radionuclide therapy with 177Lutetium-DOTATATE for various imaging scenarios. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2017
In peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) of patients with neuroendocrine neoplasias (NENs), intratherapeutic dosimetry is mandatory for organs at risk (e.g. kidneys) and tumours. We evaluated commercial dosimetry software (Dosimetry Toolkit) using

On hybrid scenarios in KSTAR

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2020
We report the status of hybrid scenario experiments in Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR). The hybrid scenario is defined as stationary discharges with B N >= 2.4 and H_89 >= 2.0 at q_95 < 6.5 without or with very mild sawtooth activities in KSTAR. It is being developed towards reactor-relevant conditions.
