Development of 20s long hybrid scenarios on JET

This paper reports the results of recent experiments carried out at JET achieving a stationary hybrid scenario lasting 20s with βN≈2. 5 and H89≈2. Up to 186 MJ have been injected in the plasma via Neutral Beams, with a significant fraction (up to 50%) of current density driven non-inductively.

A Method for Deriving Feared Scenarios in Hybrid Systems

The long-term objective is to evaluate the dynamic reliability of mechatronic systems. We propose in this paper a new version of the algorithm that allows deriving critical scenarios from a Petri net model. It is more accurate because it takes into account some continuous aspects of the system.
