A self-organization structure for hybrid networks [PDF]

open access: yesAd Hoc Networks, 2008
This paper focuses on the self-organization of ad hoc and hybrid networks. We propose to organize networks with two integrated virtual structures: a backbone and clusters. The backbone helps to optimize the flooding of control packets, and to offer a natural prolongation of the backbone of wired networks.

Two birds with one stone: Engineering polymeric carbon nitride with n-π∗ electronic transition for extending light absorption and reducing charge recombination

open access: yesAdvanced Powder Materials, 2023
The weak visible light harvesting and high charge recombination are two main problems that lead to a low photocatalytic H2 generation of polymeric carbon nitride (p-CN).

Hybrid-Voting: A Hybrid Structured Electronic Voting System

open access: yesCompanion Proceedings of the Web Conference 2020, 2020
Recent development of electronic voting (e-voting) systems has been focusing on blockchain-based design [4]. Despite blockchain’s advantages in public verifiability, existing blockchain-based voting systems are impractical due to the high block time and transaction costs of the underlying blockchain.

Paired electrocatalysis unlocks cross-dehydrogenative coupling of C(sp3)-H bonds using a pentacoordinated cobalt-salen catalyst

open access: yesNature Communications
Cross-dehydrogenative coupling of C(sp3)-H bonds is an ideal approach for C(sp3)-C(sp3) bond construction. However, conventional approaches mainly rely on a single activation mode by either stoichiometric oxidants or electrochemical oxidation, which ...
