Bipolar Hydrogen Production by Hybrid Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review focuses on the recent advances in uniqueness bipolar H2 production from the oxidation of representative small molecules, including 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural, formaldehyde, alcohols, and N‐heterocycle amides. The target electrocatalysts and the underlying mechanisms are discussed in respect to specific substrate oxidation.

Hybrid System Combining Two-Dimensional Materials and Ferroelectrics and Its Application in Photodetection.

ACS Nano, 2021
Photodetectors are one of the most important components for a future "Internet-of-Things" information society. Compared to the mainstream semiconductor-based photodetectors, emerging devices based on two-dimensional (2D) materials and ferroelectrics as ...

Enhanced CO2 reduction and valuable C2+ chemical production by a CdS-photosynthetic hybrid system.

Nanoscale, 2019
Semi-artificial photosynthesis is an emerging technique in recent years. Here, we presented an inorganic-biological hybrid system composed of photosynthetic Rhodopseudomonas palustris and CdS nanoparticles coated on the bacterial surface.

Hybrid Systems and Hybrid Computation 1st Part: Hybrid Systems

Numerical Algorithms, 2003
In the first part of this paper we will give a short historical survey of the field of hybrid systems, a precise definition of a hybrid system and some comments on the definition. In a second paper (“Hybrid systems and hybrid computation – 2nd part: Hybrid computation”) we will concentrate on a particular aspect of the theory closely related to ...
