Wireless Power Transfer Procedure via Hybrid Frequency Diversity

2021 51st European Microwave Conference (EuMC), 2022
This paper investigates the versatility of Frequency Diverse Arrays (FDAs) for smart transmission of power. A linear frequency distribution is compared to a logarithmic one in case of a series-fed multi-finger planar array operating at 24 GHz. Both the localization and the powering of potential targets placed in the scanning plane can be effectively ...

Hybrid wireless power transfer

IECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017
Both magnetic field and electric field can be used for transferring power wirelessly. But the up-to-date researches on wireless power transfer have been either inductive power transfer (magnetic field) or capacitive power transfer (electric field). An improved power transfer mode called hybrid wireless power transfer (HWPT) is proposed and evaluated in

A Study on Safety Issues of Hybrid Wireless Power Transfer in Laboratory

2021 Second International Symposium on Instrumentation, Control, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics (ICA-SYMP), 2021
Hybrid wireless power transfer (HPT) employs both magnetic and electric fields to transmit the power across air-gap distance at the resonant frequency, enhancing the potential for charging battery in electric vehicles. While the HPT technology is still under research study, the safety concerns for HPT have not yet been reported during the experiment ...

Wireless power transfer for wireless sensor networks using hybrid algorithm

2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC), 2017
Over the past few years, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has grabbed a lot of attention because of their extensive variety of budding applications. The lifetime of the WSN depends on battery life of the sensor node. Due to the limited capacity of the battery, the WSN is not able to meet present day's demands.
