Temperature‐dependent interspecific interference alters pygmy backswimmer predation on water fleas
Ecological Entomology, Volume 50, Issue 5, Page 948-951, October 2025.Increasing densities of water mites alter the predation behaviour of pygmy backswimmer, particularly in higher temperatures. Pygmy backswimmer displayed type II functional response across all the treatments. In the absence of water mites, the functional response was higher at 25°C than at 16°C, indicated by a higher space clearance rate.
