Reologia de concretos refratários na presença de diferentes tipos de aditivo e ligante hidráulico Refractory castables rheology in the presence of different sort of additive and hydraulic binders [PDF]

Synthesis of Niobium-Alumina Composite Aggregates and Their Application in Coarse-Grained Refractory Ceramic-Metal Castables. [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials (Basel), 2021
Niobium-alumina aggregate fractions with particle sizes up to 3150 µm were produced by crushing pre-synthesised fine-grained composites. Phase separation with niobium enrichment in the aggregate class 45–500 µm was revealed by XRD/Rietveld analysis.

Hidratação de ligantes na presença de matriz e aditivos Hydration of binders in the presence of matrix and additives

Effects of Alumina Hydrates Formed by Hydration of Hydraulic Alumina on Green Strength and Microstructure of Porous Alumina Ceramics

open access: yesJournal of the Ceramic Society of Japan, 2006
The effects of alumina hydrates, namely boehmite gel and bayerite, formed by hydration of hydraulic alumina (HA) on the green strength and microstructure of porous alumina ceramics were studied. A boehmite gel (3-D) network was formed at an early stage of the hydration of HA in HA slurry. The HA slurry was hardened by the formation of this 3-D network.
