Sensitivity Enhancement of Polymer Optical Fiber Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor Utilizing ITO Overlayer [PDF]

open access: yesSensors
We present an experimental study of a sensitivity-enhanced surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor utilizing a cladding etched multimode polymer optical fiber (POF) coated with a layer of gold followed by an indium tin oxide (ITO) layer.

Solid state tungsten oxide hydrate/tin oxide hydrate electrochromic device prepared by electrochemical reactions [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
The solid state electrochromic device composed of tungsten oxide hydrate (WO3(H2O)0.33) and tin oxide hydrate (Sn(O,OH)) has been constructed by anodic deposition of WO3(H2O)0.33 and Sn(O,OH) layers and showed the color change from clear to blue by applying voltage through an Au electrode.

Effect of Chitosan Electrospun Fiber Mesh as Template on the Crystallization of Calcium Oxalate

open access: yesCrystals, 2020
Biominerals fulfill various physiological functions in living organisms, however, pathological mineralization can also occur generating mineral pathologies such as the formation of calcium oxalate (CaOx) calculi in the urinary tract.

Analysis of hydrated chromium oxide film of tin free steel(TFS) by microscopic ellipsometry.

open access: yesJournal of the Metal Finishing Society of Japan, 1988
A technique of microscopic ellipsometry that measures a thickness of thin film on microareas of about 10μm∅ diameter has been developed. Application of this technique to analyze the thickness distribution of hydrated chromium oxide film on various kinds of Tin Free Steel (TFS) has shown that there are extensive differences in the uniformity of the film.

A SIMS depth profiling study of the hydration layer formed at polycrystalline tin oxide surfaces by atmospheric exposure

open access: yesApplied Surface Science, 1986
Abstract Dynamic SIMS has been used to examine the hydrated surface layer formed on polycrystalline tin oxide films by exposure to atmospheric humidity. A strongly hydrated layer is found to occur within approximately the top 6 A of the surface with a hydrogen-rich region extending to a depth of about 20 A into the bulk.

Synthesis of Copper Nanowires Using Monoethanolamine and the Application in Transparent Conductive Films

open access: yesNanomaterials
Copper nanowires (Cu NWs) are considered a promising alternative to indium tin oxide (ITO) and silver nanowires (Ag NWs) due to their excellent electrical conductivity, mechanical properties, abundant reserves, and low cost. They have been widely applied
