1985The optimization of hydraulic cylinder is studied. Based on theory of elasticity a mathematical model is established for optimizing main parameters. Meanwhile the boundary in stress concentration region, formed by 3rd order spline function in the course of optimization, is optimized by finite element analysis with mesh generation technique.
