This graphical abstract illustrates the steps carried out in the laboratory study, including saponin modification and characterization, surface tension, interfacial tension, contact angle, adsorption, and surfactant injection tests. Abstract In this study, three forms of saponin surfactants extracted from the Camellia sinensis plant (CS1, CS2, and CS3)

Hydrodynamics of a vertical hydraulic fracture [PDF]
We have developed a numerical algorithm, HUBBERT, to simulate the hydrodynamics of a propagating vertical, rectangular fracture in an elastic porous medium. Based on the IFD method, this algorithm assumes fracture geometry to be prescribed. The breakdown and the creation of the incipient fracture is carried out according to the Hubbert-Willis theory ...

The influence of gas on the instability and failure of rock–coal–rock combinations is considered. The damage characteristics of gas‐bearing rock–coal–rock combinations under different confining pressures, axial loading rates, and gas are revealed. A constitutive model for gas‐bearing rock–coal–rock damage considering gas is established.

Erosion-corrosion behaviour of Zirconia WC-6Co, WC-6Ni and SS316 [PDF]
The current study investigates a ceramic, two cermets and a metal under solid-liquid impingement with 3.5% NaCl and 150mg/l hydraulic fracturing sand at two extreme angles of impact, 90° and 20°.
