Structural Dynamic Analysis in Hydraulic Machinery

2013
The study of structural dynamics focuses on a structure’s behaviour when it is subjected to dynamic loading. Dynamic analysis can be used to research dynamic displacements, time-history, and modal analysis. A static load is one that does not vary, whereas a dynamic load changes with time. If it changes slowly, the structure’s response may be determined

Fluid Flow Interactions in Hydraulic Machinery

1996
The paper deals with the fluid flow interactions between rotor and stator as well as rotor and side spaces of hydraulic machinery. It is shown that the flow through the rotor strongly influences the leakage flow through the side space, the friction torque and the axial forces acting on the rotor.

Hydraulic Machinery

Nature, 2018
THE term hydraulic machinery is generally confined to the machinery employed for storing up water under pressure, the arrangements for transmitting this power to a distance, and the various machines worked by means of the water pressure thus provided ...

A Hybrid Hydraulic Propulsion System for Railway Machinery

2016 Joint Rail Conference, 2016
The vast majority of railway construction and maintenance machines is powered by compression-ignition combustion engines. The tendency of introducing stringent standard emission regulations for these prime movers, e.g. TIER 4, forces the migration toward downsized units.

Analysis of Transients Caused by Hydraulic Machinery

1996
The analysis of transients in systems having hydraulic machinery is necessary during the design of these systems. It may be needed to upgrade, modify, or retrofit an existing system or if the mode of operation is changed. Sometimes, such analyses are done to determine the cause of incidents, accidents, and failures; and to develop procedures or system ...
