Development of hydraulic fluid for heavy machinery [PDF]
Various classifications and specifications for hydraulic fluids are prescribed, that were developed by standardization organizations, whose demands define quality levels and appointed methods for its testing. Hydraulic fluids quality demands are defined by constructors and manufacturers of hydraulic equipment (OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer ...

In the present study, metastable CrMnNi steels with varying chemical compositions and a concomitantly altered stacking fault energy are processed via directed energy deposition and afterwards tested via tensile tests at different temperatures. The present study shows the influence of the manufacturing process on the elemental deformation mechanisms for

A superelement-based method for computing unsteady three-dimensional potential flows in hydraulic turbomachines [PDF]
A numerical method is presented for the computation of unsteady, three-dimensional potential flows in hydraulic pumps and turbines. The superelement method has been extended in order to eliminate slave degrees of freedom not only from the governing ...

Copper addition profoundly impacts MoNbTi multiprincipal element alloys. This study reveals copper's dual role, promoting microstructural refinement and strengthening intermetallics at optimal concentrations. An ideal copper content significantly boosts hardness and compressive strength, achieving superior mechanical performance.
