This study highlights that physical activity, employment, and mental health significantly influence sarcopenia risk in healthy adults. Working part‐time or full‐time and exercising, especially sports like swimming, alongside good psychological health, may be associated with reduced odds of sarcopenia.

Modelling, Identification and Experimental Validation
In this paper, modelling and identification of a hydraulic servoactuator system is presented. The development of the model is important for further understanding the system and for developing a robust force controller. A systems approach is used to model

Abstract Electrification of distillation offers a promising route to reducing scope‐1 emissions from one of the chemical industry's most energy‐intensive unit operations. However, conventional adiabatic columns are dynamically inflexible: Long, energy‐intensive start‐ups make shutdown and restart impractical under variable electricity prices and ...

Abstract Emulsion separation remains a persistent challenge in chemical and process industries due to the metastable nature of dispersed droplets. In gravity separators, the overall separation rate is governed by the formation of a densely packed zone (DPZ) of deforming and coalescing droplets that mediates between the dispersed and continuous phases ...

Abstract Transformer‐based molecular models pretrained on SMILES strings demonstrate strong performance in property prediction. However, these model often lack explicit integration of molecular surface charge distributions that govern intermolecular interactions such as hydrogen bonding and polarity.

HYDRAULIC MODELLING FOR BRIDGE VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS
Majority of the bridge collapses are due to hydraulic reasons. The Italian technical standards of constructions (NTC 2018) provide few indications about the design and verification criteria of bridges with respect to river processes.

A Computational Approach for Biomimetic Design of Liver‐On‐A‐Chip
A biomimetic liver‐on‐a‐chip with antiparallel perfusion was designed using COMSOL‐guided simulation to replicate hepatic acinus transport. Full‐scale modelling revealed diffusion‐dominated, length‐dependent nutrient gradients and low‐shear conditions.

Hydraulic modelling of the Laerdal river
Hydraulic modeling is a useful tool to analyze the impacts from changes in the flow and in the morphology of a river. To achieve accurate results it is necessary to collect detailed data of the topography of the area, especially of the river channel. In this type of landform, conventional red LiDAR data is not suitable as the near-infrared wavelength ...
