Mathematical Model of Hydraulic Shock Absorber with Feedback

Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering, 2021
In the given paper the original design of the hydraulic shock absorber with feedback is considered, the developed mathematical model of the given design is presented. As a result of mathematical modeling graphs of the associations of process parameters of braking from time are received. From the received outcomes of mathematical modeling it is possible

Modeling and experiment of vehicle double-tube hydraulic shock absorber

2011 International Conference on Electric Information and Control Engineering, 2011
In order to solve the problem of predicting damping characteristic of the shock absorber in the stage of design, a mathematical model for the shock absorber was built and simulated using the software Easy5. The establishment of the model was based on the analysis of internal configuration and working principle of double-tube hydraulic shock absorber ...

Numerical and experimental investigation of a monotube hydraulic shock absorber

Archive of Applied Mechanics, 2017
This work is devoted to the dynamics of a hydraulic monotube shock absorber, whose design resembles racecar vehicles dampers, prototyped at the University of Perugia for scientific purposes. A physical approach is adopted for numerical modeling of the global operation of the device, and the model is validated against a comprehensive test bench ...

Hydraulic shape memory alloy shock absorber: Design, analysis, and experiments

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, 2018
In this article, a new hydraulic shape memory alloy shock absorber is introduced. The shape memory alloy bars are used as the kernel components for energy dissipation and restoration in the stress mode of pure tension, and their initial deformation is ...

Nonlinear vibrations of hydraulic shock absorbers

Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics, 2008
A method of equivalent linearization for a nonlinear dynamic system of vibrations with a hydraulically elastic shock absorber is presented. An integral estimation of the exact and approximate solutions is obtained. It is shown that with an appropriate choice of the parameter λ the linearized dynamic system differs insignificantly from the nonlinear one.

Nonnatural vibrations of hydraulic shock-absorbers

Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics, 2008
Based on the procedure developed by the present authors, calculation of a construction unit intended for reducing high levels of vibrations has been carried out. The corresponding physical characteristics of the unit elements have been selected. For a multi-element model, an equivalent of a change-over to a single-mass vibrational system has been found.

Performance Simulation of Hydraulic Energy-Regenerative Shock Absorber

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
This paper presents several kinds of energy-regenerative shock absorbers, which all exist some problems. Then, we put forward a novel type of shock absorber: Hydraulic Energy-regenerative Shock Absorber (HESA). In this paper, we focus on damping characteristic and energy recovery of HESA.
