ABSTRACT The rapid evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly advanced the field of electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, enabling real‐time, remote, and patient‐centric cardiac care. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of AI assisted IoT‐based ECG monitoring systems, focusing on the integration of emerging technologies such as ...

Two‐dimensional (2D) infrared (IR) spectroscopy provides vastly more structural and functional insight into chemical and biological systems than linear IR spectroscopy. Here, we apply 2D‐IR spectroscopy to two controversially discussed states of the [FeFe] hydrogenase active site, revealing the presence of a bridging carbonyl ligand, which is difficult

Hydride-Induced Responses in the Mechanical Behavior of Zircaloy-4 Sheets
This study aimed to investigate the impact of hydrogen content, up to 1217 ppm, on the mechanical properties of Zircaloy-4, with a particular focus on the formation and impact of hydrides.

Homogeneous CO Hydrogenation: Dihydrogen Activation Involves a Frustrated Lewis Pair Instead of a Platinum Complex [PDF]
During a search for conditions appropriate for Pt-catalyzed CO reduction using dihydrogen directly, metal-free conditions were discovered instead.

Structurally Constrained Stibenium: Metallomimetic C−Si Bond Activation
A structurally constrained stibenium cation supported by a 2,6‐bis(o‐carborano)pyridine pincer‐type ligand was prepared, and its preliminary reactivity toward silanes was investigated. Remarkably, Si−C bonds in silanes undergo activation via an oxidative‐addition‐type process at the cationic Sb center.

LaNi5 hydride cryogenic refrigerator test results [PDF]
A complete LaNi5 hydrogen absorption cryogenic refrigerator system was developed. The system uses low temperature waste heat of approximately 100 C as a power source, and has no moving parts other than self operating valves.

Consequences of Medium‐Pore Zeolite Constraints for Alkene Cracking—The Case of n‐Pentene
Alkene cracking in medium‐pore zeolites is governed by a balance of enthalpic and entropic effects. Intrinsic barriers are quantified and shown to be lower than for alkanes due to stabilization of carbenium‐ion‐like transition states. Confinement and extra‐framework aluminum modulate reactivity by tuning transition‐state energetics, providing a ...

Curable liquid hydrocarbon prepolymers containing hydroxyl groups and process for producing same [PDF]
Production of hydroxyl containing curable liquid hydrocarbon prepolymers by ozonizing a high molecular weight saturated hydrocarbon polymer such as polyisobutylene or ethylene propylene rubber is discussed. The ozonized material is reduced using reducing
