Petroleum geology and exploration of beach sandbar in Junggar Basin, NW China: A case from Shawan Formation in Well Pai 2

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2008
: Well Pai 2 is located at the Chepaizi high relief belt, west Junggar Basin. The Neogene Shawan Formation beach sandbar in the Well Pai 2 is developed by lake wave reconstruction of fan-delta and reworking in its frontal side or flank, which was caused ...

Geochemical evidence of paleo-depositional environment of Triassic Adula Formation source rocks of eastern Qiangtang Basin

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi
The mudstone within the Upper Triassic Adula Formation constitutes a crucial hydrocarbon source rock reservoir in the Qiangtang Basin, yet there is considerable debate regarding its paleo-depositional environment.

Structural geology and favorable exploration prospect belts in northwestern Sichuan Basin, SW China

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2019
The northwestern Sichuan region has experienced multi-stage tectonic evolution including marine cratonic basin from the Sinian to the Middle Triassic and intra-continental basin from the Late Triassic to the Cenozoic. Several regional tectonic activities

Distribution of Carboniferous source rocks and petroleum systems in the Junggar Basin

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2010
With pre-Cambrian continental nuclei and Early Paleozoic accretionary folded belts as the collaged basement, the Junggar Basin underwent an evolution of intra-cratonic basin after the transitional period of Carboniferous to Permian.

Classification of Typical Tectonic Styles and Exploration of Hydrocarbon Accumulation Patterns in Southern Junggar Basin, China

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Affected by Tianshan uplift, the southern Junggar Basin has experienced multi-stage tectonic movements and formed many large-scale anticlines with zonal distribution. The key to hydrocarbon exploration is to accurately implement anticline traps.

Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
