Supercritical cracking and ignition performance of C10 hydrocarbon fuels(碳十烃类燃料的超临界裂解与点火性能)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban
Using endothermic hydrocarbon fuels as a novel approach to address thermal management issues in aircraft is well recognized, with their cooling and propulsion performance being contingent upon the composition of the fuel.

Hydrocarbon emissions from a modern commercial airliner [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We report selected carbon species emission indices (EIs) for a Rolls Royce RB211-535-E4 turbofan engine that were acquired during the NASA EXperiment to Characterize Aircraft Volatile Aerosol and Trace-species Emissions (EXCAVATE).

Global Energy Corporations and Climate Change: The Role of Formal and Informal Institutions in Shaping Climate Change Risk Disclosure

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines climate change risk disclosure in the global energy sector, where firms face intense stakeholder scrutiny and legitimacy pressures. We develop a novel domain‐specific textual analysis measure to capture climate change risk disclosures, improving on prior approaches based on generic environmental terminology.

Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction Over BiOX on Needle Coke–Derived Graphene Composites

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
By in situ growing BiOX on needle coke–derived graphene to construct a composite photocatalyst, interfacial charge transfer is effectively enhanced. The optimized BiOBr‐25%NCG achieves a CO production rate of 46.32 μmol·g−1·h−1 from photocatalytic CO2 reduction without sacrificial agents.

Advances in Systems Engineering of Carbon Dioxide Electroreduction

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
Industrializing CO2 electroreduction hinges on holistic systemic synergy and optimization of all process segments rather than isolated catalytic breakthroughs; Process simulation is a core enabler to build a complete capture–conversion–product industrial chain, positioning CO2RR as a key technology for carbon neutrality.

Post‐Shaping Over‐Impregnation: A Facile Strategy for Pt‐KL Catalysts With Ultrahigh Metal Dispersion and Enhanced Aromatization Performance

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
A scalable post‐shaping strategy achieves precise Pt localization within KL zeolite, where optimized spatial distribution minimizes diffusion barriers to deliver superior n‐hexane aromatization activity, selectivity, and stability. ABSTRACT The precise localization of metal clusters within zeolite frameworks is critical for the aromatization catalysis.

Simultaneous Photoactivation of Copper and Ti‐Doped CeO2−x Enables Optimal Acceleration of the RWGS Reaction

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A combination of visible light and thermal energy accelerates the CO formation rate up to 57 times compared to dark conditions using a 3Cu/CeTiO2−x catalyst. Kinetic analysis, as well as steady state and transient spectroscopy, was applied under photocatalytic conditions to analyze and disentangle the reaction channels under dark and illuminated ...
