HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL OF THE TRINIDAD AREA
Proceedings of SPE Petroleum and Exposition Conference, 1976Abstract It is now recognised that deltaic and associated sands, together with porous marine limestones, form the vast majority of the reservoirs in the major accumulations of hydrocarbons throughout the world. The source of the hydrocarbons is now thought to be kerogen which is generated from the ...

OFFSHORE HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL OF INDONESIA
Energy, 1981Abstract Offshore producing Tertiary sedimentary basins in Indonesia account for 34% of total daily production and some 12% of cumulative production of oil. The producing basins offshore are basically the geological continuation of onshore producing basins.

Hydrocarbon potential of Somaliland
First Break, 2006type of prospects in the drilled basins. In addition, modern seismic reflection surveying has had very limited application in Somaliland. Therefore, many prospective petroleum systems in the onshore and offshore regions of the country remain relatively unexplored.

Hydrocarbon potential of the shelves
International Geology Review, 1971Large accumulations of oil and gas in shelf zones under the sea are definitely indicated, on consideration of the geochemistry of organic substance in such environments, modern ideas on geochemistry, genesis and migrations of hydrocarbons, and exploration-production experience in different parts of the world.

Hydrocarbon Potential of Kuwait
Energy Sources, 2000Potential reservoir and seal rocks were evaluated in onshore Kuwait based on lithological descriptions, and probable Permian, Triassic, Jurassic, and Lower Cretaceous source rocks have been identified in eastern Kuwait and along a depositional axis in central Kuwait west of the Burgan high.

Volcaniclastics as potential hydrocarbon reservoirs
Clay Minerals, 1984AbstractVolcaniclastics have not as yet been considered prime hydrocarbon exploration targets. This is because they contain a high proportion of mechanically and mineralogically unstable components which generally cause a faster deterioration in reservoir quality upon burial than is found in siliciclastics. Also, their complex mineralogical composition

Potential of nonporous adaptive crystals for hydrocarbon separation
Chemical Society Reviews, 2023The adsorptive separation based on nonporous adaptive crystals (NACs) is an attractive green separation technology. Herein, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in various supramolecular hosts-based NACs for hydrocarbon separation.

OFFSHORE HYDROCARBON PRODUCTION AND POTENTIAL OF THAILAND
Energy, 1981Abstract Four commercial gas/condensate fields have been delineated in the Gulf of Thailand with total gas reserves of at least 7 trillion ft 3 . Efforts are being made to bring up from 500–700 MMCFD of gas ashore by 1983/84. The completion of the first phase of the pipeline system will enable production from Union Oil Co.

THE HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL OF THE DUNTROON BASIN
The APEA Journal, 1995An integrated evaluation of the Duntroon Basin has resulted in the identification of a new petroleum system. Petroleum system components are described in context of the basin-forming passive margin processes, the influence of pre-existing basement controls, and extra-basinal regional tectonic events.
