Mechanochemical Hydrodeoxygenations
In this work, a mechanochemical hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) was developed. Using silver triflate as catalyst and triethylsilane as reducing agent, 18 ketones and other substrates were hydrodeoxygenated in yields up to 92%.
